Honor Roll Online Hits the Streets
Honor Roll Online recently launched a peer-to-peer recruitment campaign on campuses across the country. The program consists of postcards and posters, plus a Facebook Ad, targeting select schools. It's designed to raise awareness of Honor Roll's unique career services with new students on campus, or those who are nearing graduation.

This is part of our effort to let students at our schools know they have options," said Laurie Byrne, President of Honor Roll Online. "The sooner the new students get enrolled, the better their chances of landing an internship or that first job."

If you our your school is interested in participating, contact us here.

Red Feather Project Winners Announced.

Last year Honor Roll Online offered students who enrolled, a chance to win an internship with Red Feather Development Group, an organization that educates and empowers American Indian nations to create sustainable solutions to the severe housing crisis within reservation communities.

Winners included Amy Krieg and Alex Loukes.

"The time I spent on my Red Feather Project in Montana was so amazing that I hope more students may also have a chance to build side by side with people from all walks of life and to learn from the Cheyenne," said Krieg

Loukes added, "I would like to thank the HRO staff for sponsoring my Red Feather trip. It was an experience of a lifetime and I plan on making an annual pilgrimage to one of their builds."

Honor Roll Online also donated $1 for every student that enrolled during the semester.

While focusing public attention on the intergenerational poverty and acute community development problems that plague American Indian reservations, Red Feather teaches affordable, replicable and sustainable approaches to home construction. Red Feather organizes volunteers, and, alongside tribal members, builds desperately needed homes.
